What Kind of Foods Can Help Increase Lucid Dreams? 



For those of us who enjoy the excitement of lucid dreaming, there are a few ways to enhance such experience through foods and supplements. By eating the right foods and getting the right vitamins it allows our bodies to reach REM sleep. By reaching this deeper sleep we can see our dreams more vividly and use them in our favor. 
Vitamin B6 
The body only needs 100mg per day of B6, which is found in the foods we eat.  However, a study in 2002 showed that those who took a daily 250mg B6 supplement had highly intensified dreams. Dreams were clearer emotionally, more colorful and more vivid.

To help our body to sleep at night, keep a regular appetite and happy mood we need our vitamin B6 to convert amino acid tryptophan into serotonin and niacin. People who suffer from depression, anxiety, and insomnia use tryptophan, and if a person is lacking with this then they tend to not recall their dreams as well as others. As tryptophan is only available through a prescription we have to use our foods as a way of ingesting it. 

By taking a vitamin B6 followed by any of these foods in the evening, can help to intensify your dreams including lucid dreaming.  Although a lot of the options are meat, there are many options for vegetarians and vegans too. These foods can be eaten before bed or evenly added to your daily diet:

There are also certain foods, which increase the production of melatonin which makes lucid dreaming easier. These are foods you can have a teaspoon of before bed or just add them into your daily diet to see how they affect you:

•          Almonds 
•          Sunflower Seeds 
•          Cherries 
Many people suggest writing dreams down as soon as you remember them as a way to train your brain. Over time, it is natural for you to start realizing you are dreaming whilst still asleep and experience lucid dreaming. Having clearer dreams can help guide us whilst we are awake. It is our dreams that tell us a true indication of where we are vibrating as many of us tend to smile and put on a brave face, fooling our friends and family and eventually fooling ourselves. Our dreams will give us a clear, non-sugar coated awareness of the frequency we are most frequently visiting. By doing this we can keep our vibration on the frequency we most desire in order to give us the life we most care for- the more we practice this the easier it will become.
